To provide you with the best possible experience on GoChop Services, we collect various types of data about you and your interactions. In short, this data helps us to personalize your experience, improve and ensure GoChop Service’s continuance, and comply with the law. The types of data we collect across your use of GoChop Services may include the following:
    a.
Registration data:This may include your name, email address, phone number, password, and similar data you provide when creating an account on our web app. If you create an account with the Facebook or Google authentication methods, Facebook and Google may provide us with the data you make available on their services. This may include your email address, name, and photo. You can learn more information about social media authentication features on Facebook and Google. Registration data may also include a profile photo or avatar if you choose to add one. If another user invites you to their household, we receive the contact detail they used to invite you before you have an account of your own.
    b.
Contact data:We collect your email address and/or phone number when you create an account or sign in with a one-time verification code, when you contact us, or when you are invited to a household. We use them to authenticate you, secure your account, deliver verification codes (via third-party email/SMS delivery providers), and respond to you.
    c.
Content data:Content data includes the recipes you create or import, ingredients and photos you upload, meal plans, shopping lists (including completion state), tasks, serving preferences, and links you submit.
    d.
Household data:when you create or join a household, we record the household’s profile details (such as its name and, if you provide it, an address or district), its membership and roles (for example owner, family member, or helper), and we associate the household’s shared content with its members. Content within a household is visible to its other members — that visibility is the product working as intended, and you should only add members on that understanding. We use household data to operate the service and, in aggregated or de-identified form, to understand usage and improve GoChop Services; we do not sell it.
    e.
Imported video data:when you submit a YouTube video or playlist link, we collect the link and retrieve the video’s public metadata (such as title, channel, thumbnail, and description) and, where available, transcript text, in order to build a recipe from it. Submitted links and the recipes derived from them may be reviewed by our team for quality and safety.
    f.
